The Working Families Academy is a place for leaders, staff, and members of Working Families to discuss the intersectional, ideological, strategic and tactical questions facing our organization in these very perilous political times. The country and the world have changed enormously since Working Families was founded in New York in 1998. Our strategy for building an economy that works for everyone and a democracy that represents the rest of us has evolved along with those changes.

In the wake of the 2016 election Working Families is growing rapidly. We are experimenting with new approaches as well as refining old ones. This is the space where we reflect on where we have come from and debate the best way forward to where we are headed.

Join the discussion! If you are building a Working Families branch in your community, if you are a staff person or leader of Working Families, we want to hear from you. Please contact the editors at strategyblog@workingfamilies.org.
